Policy Round Table
We are pleased to announce our third policy round table during the Educating the Educators (ETE) conference focused on:
“Empowering STEM Teachers for Mobility: Crafting Effective Policies for Future Success”
Following the success of previous policy seminars organized by the ICSE Academy, this event provides participants an insight into teacher professional exchange opportunities in STEM education in Europe. The purpose of the round table is to explore the current state of STEM teacher mobility in Europe, challenges and opportunities associated with enhancing teacher mobility to improve STEM education outcomes, as well as policy recommendations and supports.
Special Features:
This policy seminar will enable participants to
- engage in dialogue with key representatives from the research-policy-practice triangle in a panel discussion on effects of teacher professional exchange opportunities on teacher education and institutional support.
- take part in an exchange of recent experiences and challenges in this field in a world café.
- get to know best practices from renowned educational institutions.
The policy seminar will take place at the 5th Educating the Educators (EtE V) conference in Limassol, Cyprus which will feature four key aspects of modern STEM education: Diversity in STEM Classrooms, STEM Education in the Digital Era, Interdisciplinarity in STEM Education, and Sustainability and STEM Education.

We are delighted to welcome policy drivers Agueda Gras-Velazquez from the European Schoolnet (EUN) and Verena Bodenbender International Office PH Freiburg (Germany) in a panel discussion on teacher professional exchange opportunities.
